How the ecosystem fits together

Who pays artists today?

Phase 1 is free upload and attribution licensing. Listener subscriptions and platform revenue share fund artist payouts when Phase 2 revenue sharing launches.

Where do licenses get issued?

Lesuto Hub merchant flows and the Platform API (POST /licenses) create immutable license rows with licenseToken proof. Browsing on Disco does not issue commercial licenses by itself.

Can listeners buy tracks on Disco?

Not yet. Listeners browse and preview free today. Basic and Pro subscriptions for full streaming are Phase 2.

How is Lesuto Chameleon related?

Chameleon is our reference Hub integration. Third-party platforms use the same REST API surface and webhooks.
